Heygates Commercial Rabbit Pellets are fantastic value and when used alongside Heygates Rabbit Choice Pellets provide the perfect solution to minimising the risk of Coccidiosis. You can change from one to the other without worrying about gut stasis because they both have a similar formulation. This makes using the combination of the 2 feeds to promote natural immunity of youngstock to Coccidiosis an easy regime to implement.
A 3mm pellet suitable for commercial and domestic rabbits. This product contains a Coccidiostat.
Heygates rabbit pellets are manufactured from quality raw materials with locally produced cereals fortified with proteins, minerals and vitamins to satisfy all your rabbit's nutritional requirements.
18% PROTEIN 16% FIBRE
A coccidiostat is included to help prevent disease.

WATER
Rabbits should have constant access to clean fresh water.
RABBIT PELLETS
feed 25g of Pellets or Mix for every kg of your rabbit's body weight. So, for a medium sized rabbit weighing 2kg feed 50g per day. If introducing a new feed do so gradually to avoid digestive upsets.
FORAGES
Rabbits need plenty of fibre to keep their digestive systems healthy so good quality fresh hay should be available ad lib. Ideally rabbits should also have access to grass for grazing. DO NOT FEED GRASS CUTTINGS.
FRESH GREENS
Feed a variety of fresh greens daily, approximately one adult handful depending on the size of the rabbit. Introduce new greens gradually to avoid digestive upset.
