How Does GastriAid Work?

Stomach Support – Maintaining a Healthy Environment

Sodium bicarbonate and calcium carbonate help buffer stomach acidity, supporting a healthy gastric environment.

The formula is also designed to encourage saliva production, which contributes to the horse's natural digestive processes.

Digestive Lining – Supporting Nutrient Uptake

L-glutamine provides an amino acid used by cells throughout the body, including those lining the digestive tract.

Psyllium husks provide soluble fibre that helps support normal digestive function.

Hindgut Health – Five Star BioG

NAF's Five Star BioG combines three complementary forms of digestive support.

Prebiotics

Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), chicory inulin and yeast-derived mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) help support a favourable environment for beneficial gut microbes.

Live Yeast Probiotic

Saccharomyces cerevisiae helps support hindgut microbial activity and efficient fibre digestion.

Postbiotics

Yeast-derived metabolites provide additional nutritional support for the gut environment and normal immune function.

Together, these ingredients help maintain a healthy digestive system and support your horse's everyday wellbeing.
